Initiatives

The Dialogue's research aims to find innovative solutions to the broad array of shared challenges facing the countries of the Western Hemisphere.

Cities

Policies generated at the local level are more important than ever. Communities are turning to their mayors and other subnational leaders for critical action in response to today’s most pressing issues.

Gender Rights

High levels of social exclusion, inequality, and gender-based violence persist among women and the LGBTQ community in the region. Although progress has been made, the rights of these groups remain a growing concern.

The Dialogue

The Inter-American Dialogue engages our network of global leaders to foster democratic governance, prosperity, and social equity in Latin America and the Caribbean. Together, we work to shape policy debate, devise solutions, and enhance cooperation within the Western Hemisphere.
