Rodrigo Pardo is a Colombian journalist and diplomat. He most recently worked as the editorial director of the magazine Semana and has held similar positions at El Tiempo, El Espectador, Cambio and Noticias RCN. In 2004, he received a Simón Bolívar National Journalism Award in the category of best opinion column.
Pardo was the Colombian minister of foreign affairs from 1994 to 1997, having also served as ambassador to Venezuela and to France. Pardo received his undergraduate degree from the University of the Andes and his Master’s in international relations from John’s Hopkins SAIS.
Pardo was an event speaker at the Dialogue.
